How Our Network Works
Who you talk to
When you reach out, you speak with an independent provider in our network. Showedunderground Concrete routes the request. The provider is a separate business that quotes and does the work.
What happens on the first call
Expect a short chat about your project. The provider may ask about size, location, access and what you want the finished surface to look like. Be ready with rough measurements and a few photos if you have them.
Then the provider may offer a site visit. Many quotes are only reliable after someone sees the ground. It also helps to know if there is an old slab to remove, or if the yard slopes toward the house.
What to ask an independent provider
Good answers sound specific. Ask these:
- What will the base look like? Look for a clear answer about depth and compacted material, not just "we'll prep it."
- How thick will the slab be, and is there reinforcement? A vague reply is a warning sign.
- How will water drain? The answer should mention slope.
- Where will joints go? Joints control cracking.
- Is the quote in writing? It should list scope, materials and payment terms.
- Who handles permits? Get a direct answer.
Red flags
- Pressure to sign today
- A large cash deposit before any work is scheduled
- No written quote
- No answer on insurance when you ask
You are in control
You can ask for more than one estimate. You can say no. Take your time to compare quotes line by line, and keep copies of everything.
